Luxury Private Lodges near Oxford and London
Overlooking the beautiful
Chiltern Hills in Oxfordshire
Open 1st March
– 1st November

Rolling hills with whispers of wildlife.

Open skies flaunting starry nights.

Sizzling sausages while sipping flutes of fizz on the veranda.

Welcome to my cosy countryside lodges – The Chilterns View.

I’m Rachel, and I’ve lived here at Ewelme Down Farm for 20 years. My whole life has been spent on farms and surrounded by nature – but despite that, I’ve never been keen on roughing it outdoors.

I wanted to create somewhere that was comfy, cosy and relaxing but still embraced the beauty of being immersed in the glorious English countryside – and so The Chilterns View was born.

With each lodge set in its own secluded spot, offering uninterrupted views of the Chiltern Hills, I hope people will fall in love with this area, just as I did.

My five lodges are nestled within the woods, each with their own secluded private entrance and a beautiful outlook over the Chiltern Hills.

All of the lodges have:

  • a veranda with stunning South-facing views
  • outdoor furniture
  • a hot tub
  • a hammock
  • a BBQ, with charcoal
  • atmospheric outdoor lighting

  • a comfy king size bed
  • a cosy sofa
  • a log burning stove, with logs
  • an en-suite bathroom with double shower
  • a kitchenette with hob, kettle, toaster and microwave
  • plenty of crockery and utensils
  • cookery basics: salt, pepper, oil, butter
  • a welcome hamper including bread, jam, milk, juice, and eggs from my own chickens
